Microsoft Office 2007 Beta 2 [/color]
The 2007 Microsoft Office, previously code-named Microsoft Office 12, is the successor to its Office business application franchise, which packages together word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and other programs.
Microsoft announces the new Beta 2 of the incoming Office 2007. Preview the 2007 Microsoft Office system and gain first-hand experience with the new look and feel, features, and functionality of the 2007 Microsoft Office release. 2007 Microsoft Office system Beta 2 is a public preview release designed to help you evaluate the Microsoft Office system. The beta is not final and should not be used for business-critical work.
In addition, Office 2007 will run both on Windows Vista and Windows XP. Office 2007 currently looks like under Windows XP vs. Windows Vista. The new UI is a major departure from the past. Many developers are wondering whether this UI should be adopted elsewhere. Microsoft has begun using the orb-like UI (from the Windows Vista Start button) in other applications as well despite there being no mention of it in the Windows Vista UI guidelines.
The beta release contains all the functionality of the regular release, but is not the final product.

Windows XP is a line of operating systems developed by M*crosoft for use on general-purpose computer systems, including home and business desktops, notebook computers, and media centers.

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 RC1
The Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 (formerly known as WinFX), is the new managed code programming model for Windows. It combines the power of the .NET Framework 2.0 with new technologies for building applications that have visually compelling user experiences, seamless communication across technology boundaries, and the ability to support a wide range of business processes. These new technologies are Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation, Windows Workflow Foundation, and Windows CardSpace (formerly code named "Infocard"). Microsoft plans to ship .NET Framework 3.0 as part of the Windows Vista operating system.
In addition, Microsoft is making these technologies available on Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. The following Community Technology Preview of .NET Framework 3.0 enables you to continue experimenting with early builds of these technologies, get acquainted with the development experience, and provide feedback to Microsoft. Please note that the License Agreement in this pre-release version of the .NET Framework v3.0 does not allow usage in a live operating environment. Information about Go-Live possibilities can be found here.
Note: This is a pre-RTM release. Therefore, do not install these builds on machines you depend on. If you have a previous version of Avalon ("Windows Presentation Foundation"), Indigo ("Windows Communication Foundation"), or pre-released versions of .NET Framework 2.0 installed you must read this before download. Specifically, if you have previously installed .NET Framework 3.0 (WinFX Runtime Components 3.0) Beta 2, please follow the instruction in section 2.1 of the readme before installing .NET Framework 3.0 June CTP.
Compatability with Windows Vista Beta2
This CTP (Community Tech Preview) is intended for users of Windows Vista build 5456, Windows XP, or Windows 2003 Server. It is not supported for users running the Windows Vista Beta 2 for .NET Framework 3.0 development. If you are using Windows Vista Beta 2 for .NET Framework 3.0 development, we recommend that you do not install this version of the CTP and instead use the Beta 2 release. The .NET Framework 3.0 June CTP runtime is a later version than the one that ships with Windows Vista Beta 2, and code that uses the .NET Framework 3.0 Beta2 will not work with this CTP.
Installation
To start the installation process, you will need to run the download file; this will initiate the installation of the .NET Framework 3.0 June CTP; If you have troubles with the download manager, you can download the entire package for x86 or for x64 which are both .EXE files.
This CTP release supports Visual Studio 2005 RTM and the .NET Framework 2.0 RTM. The Microsoft® WinFX® SDK contains documentation, samples, and tools designed to help you develop managed applications and libraries using WinFX. You can install the SDK that corresponds to this release here.

This pack is designed to bring a Windows XP CD with SP2 integrated fully up to date with all of the laFiles-Best hotfixes released by Microsoft since SP2's release. It accomplishes this task via direct integration, where files on the CD are directly overwritten by the updated files. This method has numerous advantages over other integration techniques:
1. Since the files are being directly overwritten on the CD, there is no period of vulnerability between when the files are copied to the hard drive and the hotfixes are run. This guarantees maximum stability and security.
2. All necessary registry entries needed by Windows Update, QFECheck, and Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer are imported during Windows setup, meaning that the integration is transparent to Windows.
3. Security Catalogs necessary for Windows File Protection to recognize the updated files as digitally signed are installed, once again ensuring maximum transparency to Windows.

There are new sources of files coming from every direction: digital cameras, e-mail, cell phones, portable media players, camcorders, PDAs, and laptops. Increasingly, computer users are using different folders, drives, and even different computers (such as a laptop and a desktop) to store and retrieve files. Yet managing hundreds or thousands of files is still largely a manual operation. In some cases it is necessary to get copies of files from one place; in other cases there is a need to keep two storage locations exactly in sync. Some users manage files manually, dragging and dropping from one place to another and keeping a mental card catalog in their heads. Others use one or more applications to provide this functionality for them.
Now there is an easier way. SyncToy is a free PowerToy for Microsoft Windows XP that provides an easy to use, highly customizable program that helps users to do the heavy lifting involved with the copying, moving, and synchronization of different directories. Most common operations can be performed with just a few clicks of the mouse, and additional customization is available without added complexity. SyncToy can manage multiple sets of folders at the same time; it can combine files from two folders in one case, and mimic renames and deletes in another. Unlike other applications, SyncToy actually keeps track of renames to files and will make sure those changes get carried over to the synchronized folder.
We listened to your feedback. SyncToy was released as a beta in early August 2005. MSN Login Freezer
MSN Login Freezer, a small (57Kb) standalone program, can prevent MSN users to login.
Just type in the e-mail address of the person you want to prevent login in into MSN Messenger, Windows Live messenger, or his hotmail-account.
Click Freeze, and wait until the freezing is 100%.
At that time the person with the e-mail address you freezed cannot login in his account.
When the person is already logged in, I assume it'll be freezed when he'll login the next time.
Don't forget to defreeze the account when you stopped fooling around, because he won't be able to use his account until it is defreezed!
Note: The person is only able to login into MSN Messenger or Windows Live Messenger after logging in into his hotmail-account through hotmail dot com!
